Arm Guitar

This Arm Guitar was an experiment in interactive body adornment. The guitar strings are strung through the bridge section that you hold in your hand. Then they follow your forearm and come up into the tuners. As long as you keep your arm straight, they will keep a tune and you can strum them. This piece was shown in a national juried exhibition, Forge Form Fabricate, hosted by the Southern Illinois Metalsmith Society as well as Art and Design Expo 2019 hosted by Appalachian State University. It is currently in the Plemmons Student Union Permanent Art Collection.
